- Ideal for road surfacing, they are measured using a penetrometer, from the softest (100/120) to the hardest (30/40), with the intermediate grades 40/50, 50/70, 60/70, 80/100 and 85/100.

Grades suited to every project
Depending on the origin crude oil and the refining process, the properties of bitumen vary significantly. We supply the penetration grades (35/50, 50/70, 70/100) and viscosity grades (VG 10 to VG 40) required for road construction, waterproofing and public works. The choice of grade depends on the climate, traffic and intended use: we guide you toward the most relevant reference.

What bitumen grades and standards are available?
E-Station supplies penetration grades compliant with the EN 12591 standard (35/50, 40/50, 50/70, 60/70, 70/100, 80/100), oxidized bitumen (85/25, 115/15), and viscosity grades from VG 10 to VG 40. Each batch comes with its technical data sheet and refining origin.
What are the delivery lead times and coverage areas?
E-Station delivers across Europe, Africa, and the Mediterranean rim. Lead times depend on the Incoterm, the loading port, and refinery availability; they are confirmed at the time of quotation, with tracking through to receipt.
What is the minimum order volume?
The minimum volume varies depending on the packaging and destination: from a full tanker truck (around 25 to 30 tonnes) to a bulk maritime shipment of several thousand tonnes. Orders in drums or bitucontainers allow for smaller, more fractional volumes.
How is batch compliance and quality guaranteed?
Each batch undergoes a quality check at loading and comes with a certificate of analysis (COA) confirming compliance with EN 12591 specifications. E-Station selects audited refineries and partners to guarantee consistent quality.
Which Incoterms does E-Station use to organize sales?
E-Station works with the main 2020 Incoterms: FOB, CFR, CIF for maritime shipments, or DAP for on-site delivery. The Incoterm is defined together with the buyer based on their logistics capabilities and their transport and insurance coverage needs.
