How E-Station collects, processes and protects your personal data.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

E-Station is committed to an ongoing process of compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016. With this new regulation, E-Station strengthens its personal data protection policy so that our users' data is collected and used in a transparent, confidential and secure manner.

Our Personal Data Protection Policy describes how E-Station processes the personal data of visitors and users (hereinafter the "Users") when browsing our website (hereinafter the "Site"). The Personal Data Protection Policy is an integral part of the Site's General Terms of Use.

E-Station continuously pays attention to our Users' data. We may therefore periodically modify, supplement or update the Personal Data Protection Policy. We may also make necessary changes to comply with changes in applicable legislation and regulations. 

As far as possible, we will notify you of any significant change. We nevertheless encourage you to regularly consult the latest version in force, available on our Site.

Who is responsible for processing my personal data?
E-STATION S.A.S. (hereinafter referred to as "E-STATION") whose registered office is located at 23 rue D'Anjou – 75008 Paris France.

What are the purposes of data processing?

We collect personal data that you provide to us and data that we gather.

We use this personal data to improve your user experience and personalize our services.

When you use our site and/or when you register, we collect and process personal data about you such as: your first and last names, address or email address.

We will also ask you to provide your email address and/or phone number in order to use this data to create an account, send information emails and notifications, and for the newsletter.

We also collect your username, avatar, postal address, gender, phone number, IP address, and certain information available on your social networks.

E-Station uses rating methods for its training modules and learning paths to analyze satisfaction with the courses taken, exercises, completed chapters, paths and projects. We use this data for analysis and display. This data is used for various aspects, in particular to gather your user experience and track your progress, and to set up monitoring and statistics based on your motivation.

When you provide us with your contact details, we may contact you by phone and ask you for information about your professional project, your preferred path, your financing preferences, your interest in long-term training, the obstacles regarding the proposed solution, the estimated start date, and depending on your situation, the reason for rejection. This data is used for recording, consultation, use, completion, extraction and transmission to promote the paths of our learners.

As part of satisfaction surveys, we may use a customer satisfaction measurement tool (Net Promoter Score). Through this tool, you will be asked to write a review of the training taken with E-Station.

Data is collected for the purpose of providing the product, service or feedback requested using this feature (for example, reports, requests for information or assistance, thanks, appointment scheduling, complaints or contacts) and to generally comply with legal obligations.

What is the legal and optional basis for processing?

The legal and optional bases used for processing Your Data, depending on the purposes indicated in the paragraph above, are as follows: 

  1. a) Feedback and service provision: processing for these purposes is based on the need to provide the customer with feedback or an electric vehicle charging station installation service.
    Providing your Personal Data to E-STATION for these purposes is not mandatory, but otherwise it will not be possible to provide you with a Service or Feedback. 
  2. b) Compliance: processing for this purpose is based on E-STATION's need to fulfill any legal obligation.

How is the data processed?
Personal data is processed by manual, computer and telematic means, protected by appropriate and up-to-date security measures to ensure data confidentiality.

How long do you process my data?
Processing will cease when the aforementioned purposes are no longer applicable. This will be done by deleting your data from our database.

How does my data circulate?
The data you provide may be shared with "third parties" in order to carry out the necessary activities related to your request and to comply with the relevant legislative and/or regulatory obligations.

How is your personal data protected?

E-Station applies generally recognized technological and organizational security measures so that the personal data collected is not lost, misappropriated, accessed, modified or disclosed by unauthorized third parties, unless the communication of this data is required by applicable regulations, in particular at the request of a judicial, police, gendarmerie or any other authority empowered by law.

The security of personal data also depends on Users. Users who are members of E-Station undertake to keep their username and password confidential. Members also undertake not to share their account and to report to E-Station any unauthorized use of said account as soon as they become aware of it.

How long is the personal data of E-Station users kept?

Your data is kept for a limited period to ensure optimal security.

Personal data communicated by E-Station Users will be deleted after a certain period and according to the data processed.

In order to allow members to recover their account in case of a forgotten password after an extended period without logging in to the Site, your email is kept for security. It is nevertheless possible to delete it by modifying your profile information in the "My Account" section of the Site.

We keep your data only for the time necessary for the purposes pursued, in accordance with legal requirements, and in particular:

Connection data and data relating to your profile:

  • 5 years after your last use of our website, if you have not closed your account;
  • In the event that your account has been suspended or blocked, we keep your data for a period of 2 years from the suspension in order to prevent any circumvention on your part of the rules in force on our website.
  • Billing data and data relating to your contract: 10 years
  • Visitor data and data relating to commercial prospecting: 3 years
  • Data relating to project validation and installation: 10 years

What happens when using E-Station services in connection with social networks?

We are not responsible for the use of data made by social networks. You can configure them on their sites.

When you use social networks and E-Station services or applications in connection with social networks, this may lead to the collection and exchange of certain data between social networks and E-Station.

We are not responsible for the use made of your data by social networks for their own account. You have the option to configure and control access and privacy of your data directly on the social networks.

What are your rights?

In application of the European regulations in force, we have implemented procedures and mechanisms allowing you to exercise your rights.

In accordance with the regulations in force, Users of our website have the following rights:

  • right of access and rectification;
  • updating, completeness of User data;
  • right to block or delete Users' personal data, when it
  • are inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, outdated, or whose collection, use, communication or storage is prohibited;
  • right to withdraw consent at any time;
