Bitumen 60\/70 \u2013 wholesale purchase and export<\/h1>\n

Le bitume 60\/70 est le grade de p\u00e9n\u00e9tration le plus utilis\u00e9 pour les enrob\u00e9s routiers \u00e0 chaud. E-Station le source aupr\u00e8s de son r\u00e9seau de raffineries de la r\u00e9gion du Kurdistan irakien (Erbil et Souleymanieh) et le livre en vrac ou conditionn\u00e9 aux entreprises de travaux publics, centrales d’enrobage et importateurs. Chaque lot est accompagn\u00e9 de sa fiche technique, de sa fiche de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de son certificat d’origine. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un grade de p\u00e9n\u00e9tration standard du bitume (asphalt)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bitumen 60\/70 complies with the ASTM D946 and AASHTO M20 standards. \u201c60\/70\u201d refers to the penetration: a standardised needle sinks between 60 and 70 tenths of a millimetre into the product at 25 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

60\/70 or 50\/70? For European buyers<\/h2>\n

A point that catches out many buyers: the 60\/70 grade exists under the American ASTM D946 standard, but not under the European EN 12591 standard. In Europe, the closest equivalent is 50\/70 bitumen<\/a> (penetration 50\u201370, softening point 46\u201354 \u00b0C). If your market is the EU (France, Belgium, Romania, etc.), 50\/70 is the grade you will be asked for. We supply both; specify the target standard when you enquire.<\/p>\n

Applications<\/h2>\n

The 60\/70 is used mainly to produce hot-mix asphalt for base and wearing courses: urban roads, secondary roads, motorways, airport runways, industrial platforms. Its consistency suits hot and temperate climates well, where it maintains its performance under heavy traffic.<\/p>\n
